POLICIES
Here at Scar Alchemy, we value the opinions and desires of each client. It is our priority to offer quality services to our clients.
We are a safe place for everyone.
We take time and careful detail to make sure every step of the way the client is at ease in any of our appointments. We do not move forward with any appointment until the client and artist are 100% happy with the pre-drawn or previously discussed area of tattoo and color choices.

PLEASE READ OVER OUR POLICIES PRIOR TO BOOKING ANY SERVICES.
CONSULTATIONS:
-A consultation is required in order to receive Medical Camouflage or Scar Revision treatment.
-All consultations are virtual (via Zoom) for your convenience.
-A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE fee is required to schedule a consultation. The consultation fee will be applied to the total cost of the service if you become a client.
-Reschedules are only permitted for extreme circumstances and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled consultation time. Any no-shows will prevent you from receiving services in the future.
DEPOSITS:
-A $650 deposit is required in order to book an appointment. Deposit ranges are based on appointment type and cost. Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your service.
-Initial appointments must be scheduled within 90 days of the deposit. If the first appointment is not completed within 90 days of your deposit, a rescheduling fee of $350 will be required to book your appointment.
-All remaining payment is due 72 hours prior to the day of the appointment. Failure to complete payment by the scheduled due date will result in your appointment being marked as a no-show, and you will forfeit your deposit. If you wish to keep your appointment, you will be subject to a late fee of $100.
-All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
IF YOU ARE LATE:
-Our appointments are timed to accommodate our clients and to ensure safety measures are taken between each client. Efficiency ensures we provide quality service. Please contact us if you are going to be late.
-There is a 15-minute grace period for your appointment. A late fee of $100 will be charged after the grace period.
-If you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment, you may be required to reschedule. A rescheduling fee of $350 will be required to book a new appointment.
FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS:
-All complimentary sessions or follow-up appointments must be completed within the allotted time as stated in your booking appointment or service quote.
-For stretch marks or scar camouflage, the complimentary follow-up appointment must be completed within 120 days of the original appointment.
-If you do not schedule your included touch-up within the 120-day window, you will be subject to a $350 touch-up fee.
-All payments for follow-up appointments are non-refundable. Failure to complete payment by the scheduled due date will prevent you from receiving additional services.
-For Lip Blush, the first follow-up appointment will be scheduled after 6-8 weeks.
Note:
Please be advised that all follow-up appointments are considered TENTATIVE until confirmed. To finalize your follow-up appointment, you must upload updated photos of your skin at least 1 WEEK PRIOR to your scheduled date.
*These photos are necessary to ensure your skin has completely healed. Without the photos, there is a chance that your skin will not be eligible for your next session. We want to avoid wasting you time, money, and your visit.
Important:
-
If you fail to upload the required photos on time, your appointment will be canceled.
-
You will be responsible for rebooking your follow-up appointment.
While we will make every effort to accommodate your new requested date, please note that priority will be given to existing bookings and schedules on our calendar.
RESCHEDULES:
-If you wish to reschedule, a 48-HOUR NOTICE IS REQUIRED to reschedule your appointment. If you do not provide a 48-hour notice, a rescheduling fee of $500 will be required to reschedule your appointment.
-You must reschedule within 4 weeks of your original appointment and are only allowed ONE reschedule at no additional charge.
-If you reschedule for a 2nd time, an appointment change fee of $500 will be required to secure a new appointment date.
-If you need to reschedule or change your appointment, please email Latoya@scaralchemy.com or TEXT YOUR CONCERN at 470.312.8542 with 48 hours’ notice.
CANCELLATIONS:
-If you choose to cancel your appointment, you will automatically forfeit your deposit. The deposit is non-refundable.
-If you have not paid your remaining balance by the due date, your appointment will be canceled and you will forfeit your deposit.
PRE-CARE AND POST-CARE
-Pre-care is not a suggestion but a requirement to be eligible to be tattooed. You will forfeit your service if you are not in compliance with ALL pre-care. Your appointment will be canceled and a $350 rescheduling fee will be required to re-book any appointment that was canceled due to non-compliance.
-Please follow ALL post-care instructions to allow for optimal results and client safety.
HEALED RESULTS:
-Healed results will vary with each individual client. We have no control over what occurs during the healing process.
-Makeup and or multiple sessions may be needed based on healing and service.
-Absolutely NO guarantee will be made and additional sessions (charged accordingly) may be required to obtain optimal results.
-Please keep in mind that Lip Blush and Lip Balance will require annual to semi-annual maintenance. Additional pricing can be found on our services tab.
REFUNDS:
-No refunds are given after services are performed.
-Although we give our best efforts to provide you with 5-star quality service, many factors can result in the less than desired outcome as each client will heal differently. It is crucial that you follow before and after-care instructions.
-If you have paid your balance in full but no longer desire to receive services, a refund will be issued to you (minus your deposit, consultation fee, and transaction fees for the refund, consultation fee, and initial deposit.)
TRAINING CLASSES:
- A deposit is required in order to register for a class. Deposit ranges are based on class type and cost. Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your class.
-If you are unable to attend class, it is your responsibility to notify us prior to the start date of the class. We will try our best to accommodate you, however, there are no refunds for deposits and there are no guarantees.
- If you choose to cancel your registration, you will automatically forfeit your deposit. The deposit is non-refundable.
-If you have not paid your remaining balance by the due date, your registration will be canceled and you will forfeit your deposit.
-All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
-There will be no refund issued for classes paid in full.

PLEASE NOTE:
-You must be 18 years or older to receive our services.
-We do not tattoo pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- We do not “touch up” other artists’ work from outside the studio.
